  • In the case of more than 3 guests, an additional charge of 5,000 yen (tax included) per person per night will be added for each additional person.
  • When a child  under 6year(s) old sleeps in the same bed as a parent , there is no charge for the  child .Children sleeping alone in one bed or children from 6 years or older will be charged the same as adults.
  • Accommodation tax (200-1000 yen per guest per night) will be charged in addition to the room rate.
  • The rates shown above are for a one-night stay, excluding breakfast and dinner. You can order catering breakfast and/or dinner with an additional charge.
  • Due to the architectural structure of old town houses, staircase is steep. Please be careful when elderly people or small child stays.*It depends on some facilities. If you prefer, we can prepare futon beddings on the first floor to avoid danger. Please let us know when you make a reservation.
  • We fully respect and preserve the historical value of Machiya when we renovated Rinn Premium Series. So you might feel uncomfortable to stay in Machiya compared with modern hotels, especially the insulation of noise and sunlight. Some guests filed grievances that their sleep was disturbed by the noise of footsteps or sunlight from Shoji curtain made of paper.We appreciate your understanding.

How to make a reservation
Please use the reservation form below to make a reservation. We will check the availability and suggest a facility for you. All of our machiya houses are high-grade machiya houses. If you are traveling together with two or three groups, please write in the remarks column. We will find you a facility with a row of houses.
*Reservations must be made at least 3 days prior to the scheduled stay.

How to check-in
Rinn Premium is a private ryokan with no staff on the premises. Therefore, the check-in procedure location is different from that of the accommodation. Free shuttle service is available from the check-in location to your accommodation (*There is a charge if only luggage is delivered to the facility). Please click here for check-in location.
Due to the ordinance of Kyoto City, face to face check-in is mandated. As our hotels are vacation rentals without check-in counters, we have to ask our guests to check in at the below check-in counter which locates different place from your accommodation.

Cancellation Policy
As we offer a special rate plan, cancellation fee is free if you notify us 8 days prior to your stay; 100% of the room charge will be charged from 7 days prior, and 100% of the room charge if you cancel on the day of your stay or do not stay overnight.

Cleaning

Rinn Premium supports SDGs.
We operate townhouses in consideration of sustainable community development and the environment. Room cleanings during your stay are not included in our services.
* We will collect trash and change bedsheets and towels if you stay for more than 4 nights. This simple cleaning is for free of charge. Our staff will visit the accommodation between 10:00 and 16:00 on the specified date. After the 4th night, we will provide this service every 3 nights.
If you wish to have regular cleaning other than the simple cleaning, please give us a request in advance. Cost for cleaning the room is 8,000 yen per one time.

  • Simple cleaning includes changing towels and linens and collecting trash.
  • Cleaning is between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
  • We will provide you with the scheduled cleaning date and time at your check-in.
  • Simple cleaning is once for 4 nights or more, twice for 7 nights or more, and three times for 10 nights or more.（One simple cleaning will be added for every 3 nights.）
